A wonderful example of country fairs 4 H style. Worth the drive out for the experience and food
Facilities are always clean for the Horse Shows I attend. The shows are efficient, the judges are always kind and helpful with advice and the crowd is friendly. The stalls are good as well (close to hoses, strong doors, good roof, and spacious. The rings are kept well, though the warm up ring (on hill above) sometimes has a large puddle in the front (facing the lower show ring). The "holding area" is a bit congested as it is not really a holding area and is a road on the side of a hill, but it does. Parking is ample and camping is easy.
Good time but the rides are getting a bit run down and prices are crazy high.
This is the standard to which I hold all other fairs! And none can come close! It has everything; rides, food, horses, cows, sheep, tractor pull, agricultural and craft exhibits, antique farm equipment, all kinds of new farm equipment for demo and sale, children's barnyard, and the best of all: Addison County Sugarmakers Association with all kinds of delicious maple treats and products. Seriously: the gold standard for fairs anywhere!
The best time that I had in Vermont. It's very nice fair, everyone needs to go once on their life.
